- The power supply cable is 9 AWG, while the output cables are 13 AWG and the remote cable is 18 AWG. A 40A circuit breaker or fuse is recommended.
- This subwoofer amplifier delivers excellent low-frequency performance and includes a Crossover, Input/Output settings, Gain Control, Bass Boost, and Taramps Monitor Level Remote compatibility.

THE BASS 400
The BASS 400 amplifier by Taramps has been carefully designed with the highest technology, efficiency and performance for car audio systems. Designed mainly for sub and bass, that is, frequency responses in the range of 8Hz to 250Hz. It has a maximum power of400 Watts in 1 channel of 2 ohms, with customized adjustments according to the trunk size and frequency appeal of each vehicle, through the BASS BOOST and the option of choosing the central frequency. The BASS 400 can offer much more displacement control, through the SUBSONIC FILTER, volume control and LOW PASS, to make your bass sound just perfect.

To ensure compatibility, check the RMS power rating and impedance of your speakers or subwoofers. Your amplifier should provide an equal or slightly higher RMS power output at the same impedance level. For example, if your speakers are rated at 50 watts RMS at 4 ohms, look for an amplifier that can deliver around 50-75 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms.
While it's possible to install a car amplifier yourself, it requires some technical knowledge, tools, and understanding of your vehicle's electrical system. If you're not confident in your abilities, it's recommended to have the amplifier installed by a professional to ensure proper and safe installation.
Class A amplifiers offer high sound quality but are inefficient and generate a lot of heat. Class B amplifiers are more efficient but can have distortion at crossover points. BUILT FOR EXTREME BASS
The amplifier has wire input and an RCA input for the signals to be amplified. Comes with LEVEL, LOW PASS and SUBSONIC adjustments for amplifier sensitivity and frequency and BASS BOOST with Freq. for sub-bass reinforcement.
With output for connecting speakers (positive and negative). It is recommended to use 11 AWG (4 mm²) cables to connect the positive and negative poles of the battery to the amplifier's power terminals, and a remote terminal that must be connected to the CD/DVD player's remote output.
